Bb. Pilipinas 2017 winners crowned



The winners of the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 beauty pageant were crowned at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City on May 1.

From 40 candidates, the girls were narrowed down to 25. Those who made the initial cut were Nelda Ibe, Arienne Calingo, Rachel Peters, Beatrice Valente, Diane Marasigan, Katarina Rodriguez, Juliana Kapeundl, Camille Manalo, Sammie Anne Legaspi, Chanel Olive Thomas, Elizabeth Clenci, Ma. Bejieleen Nama, Sirene Sutton;

Kristel Guelos, Jennyline Malpaya, Mariel de Leon, Charmaine Elima, Vanessa Saliba, Kristi Rose Cequena, Larah Grace Lacap, Christagale Borja, Ruffa Nava, Gabriel Ortega, Jehza Huelar and Ana Patricia Asturias.

All of them competed in swimsuit and evening gown. After the two competitions, the girls were trimmed to Top 15. They were: Elizabeth Clenci, Mariel de Leon, Chanel Olive Thomas, Katarina Rodriguez, Jehza Huelar, Sirene Sutton, Kristel Guelos, Nelda Ibe, Charmaine Elima, Christagale Borja, Camille Manalo, Gabriela Ortega, Larah Grace Lacap and Rachel Peters.

After the Top 15 candidates hurdled the final question-and-answer portion, this year's winners were finally revealed. They are:

                                                          2nd Runner-Up - Kristel Guelos

                                                       1st Runner-Up - Charmaine Elima

                                                     Bb Pilipinas Globe - Nelda Ibe

                                              Bb Pilipinas Intercontinental - Katarina Rodriguez

                                     Bb Pilipinas Grand International - Elizabeth Durado Clenci
