Angel admits having problems with Angelica years ago

Actress Angel Locsin has admitted having problems with actress Angelica Panganiban in the past.

"May mga pinagdaan kami in the past pero kinailangan din eh," said Locsin.

On her part, Panganiban said: "May mga bagay na hindi naman sa umpisa ay para bang perfect na perfect kayo sa isa't isa bilang magkaibigan. And I guess napaka importanteng part din yung pinag daanan namin sa friendship namin."

Panganiban and Locsin are reuniting for a new project under Star Cinema. The still untitled movie will also star Richard Gutierrez.

Believe it or not, Panganiban also thought that Locsin was over-acting the first time they met.

"Alam n'yo nung una, na-OA-han ako. Sobrang bait naman nito. Parang hindi talaga tutoo nun. Ang OA ang daming ginagawa. Asikaso ng asikaso sobrang bait. Pero yun kasi pala talaga sya. Sobrang malambing hindi sya nakakalimot," said Panganiban, during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS CBN.

Nevertheless, Panganiban is excited to wprk with Locsin again. "I'm very excited na mas makilala ko pa ulit si Angel."

Locsin described Panganiban as a real person.

"Everything kay Angelica real. Tutoo eh. Isa yun sa mga naa-appreciate ko. Maalaga syang tao eh. Mabuting kaibigan. Ever since naman kahit may pinagdaanan kami hindi naman nawala yung respeto ko sa kanya kasi yun sya eh. Karespe-respeto," said Locsin.


Panganiban reacted: "Karespe respesto baka papunta na akong santo d'yan mars ha. Parang kakabugin ko na si Mam Charo (Santos) sa kabutihan eh."

Locsin and Panganiban first appeared together in the movie "One More Try" with Dingdong Dantes in 2012

But reports said that there was a fallout between Locsin and Panganiban following an incident that stemmed from the movie.

Reports said that Locsin was hurt after Panganiban slapped her hard and pulled her hair in one of their confrontation scenes.

Panganiban admitted that Locsin became cold to her after that scene. But she was hopeful then that they would bond and become good friends. - ROBERT REQUINTINA
