Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 gives more special awards

The Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 pre-pageant activities shifted to high gear as it presented more special awards during a special presentation held at the Hannah's Beach Resort and Convention Center in Ilocos Norte last Saturday, July 22.

Louise Lian Enumerable (Negros Island Region) was named Miss Photogenic.

Jannie Loudette Alipo-on (Navotas) was awarded Best In Resort Wear and Mutya ng Hannah's. Savannah Mari Gankiewicz (Hawaii) won 1st runner-up for Mutya ng Hannah's while Suzanne Perez (Mutya ng California) was 2nd runner-up for Mutya ng Hannah's.

Savannah Mari Gankiewicz (Hawaii) won Best In Swimsuit. Arianne Deseree Viardo (Mutya ng Pampanga) was 2nd runnerup.

The other semi-finalists in the pre-pageant activity were Chella Grace Falconer (Mutya ng Northern Mindanao), Crtelle Ann Tolentino (Mutya ng Manila), Jesas Wada (Mutya ng Japan), Sofia Marie Sibug (Mutya ng Albay), Angela Carla Sandigan (Mutya ng Pateros), Bertmari Bergmannsdottir (Mutya ng Iceland) and Rica Sey (Mutya ng Australia).


Joining the 30 gorgeous Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 candidates were retired Air Force Colonel Nolasco, owner of Hannah's Resort; celebrity photographer Lito Sy; Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia-Pacific 2016 Ganiel Krishnan; and Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism International 2016 Justine Mae "Jaya" Alcaide San Jose.

The grand coronation night of the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 pageant will be held at the Resorts World Manila in Pasay City on Aug. 4. It will be televised on ABS-CBN’s "Sunday’s Best" from 10-12 noon (before ASAP) on Aug. 6.

The winners will vie for the most-coveted titles of  Mutya ng Pilipinas – Asia Pacific International 2017, Mutya ng Pilipinas – Tourism International 2017  and the newest major title will be introfuced this year,  Mutya ng Pilipinas – Top Model of the World 2017.

Major titlists are sent as Philippines’ representative to elite international competitions, such as Miss Asia Pacific International which will be held in Manila in October, Miss Tourism International in Malaysia and Top Model of the World in Cairo, Egypt.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta has complained about the construction of her neighbor's condominium unit, saying that it brought stress to her family.
