Candid Shot: PO2 Don McGyver Cochico

One of the memorable candidates to hit the male pageant scene in recent years is PO2 Don McGyver Cochico. He was crowned 2015 Manhunt Philippines during the Misters of Filipinas pageant organized by the Prime Events Production Philippines, Inc. headed by its president Carlo Morris Galang.

This charming six-footer was discovered by Eton Concepcion, a talent scout who also works for the Philippine National Police at the Camp Crame headquarters in Quezon City.

Cliche as it may sound, Cochico said that he joined the male pageant so that he could reach out to people. But this macho man would not have a hard time in doing that since he has been serving the public when he joined the police force six years ago.

After his stint in the pageant, Cochico is slowly but surely making it in the fashion world. He has done runway shows, print ads and appeared on television shows.
