Sharon Cuneta slams malicious fans

Megastar Sharon Cuneta has appealed to critics to stop putting malice into her friendship with Robin Padilla saying that the action star is a good friend despite their past relationship.

"So relax lang po! Mahal ko po si Robin pero kung wala si Kiko sa buhay ko, ang babalikan ko isa lang. Hindi na rin puede kasi may asawa na rin siya," said Cuneta on her Facebook.

"At sorry, di niyo po ever malalaman kung sino at di niyo kilala. Akala ko noon artista din yung 'love of my life' ko (lagi silang contest ni Robin sa puso ko pero siya ang nangingibabaw lagi). After a few years I realized hindi pala! Ngek. At I have my husband and children now.


"So I hope that those people that leave mean messages here and in my other social media accounts now will understand why I am posting about me and Robin.

"May MOVIE po kaming bago after so many years! So I hope kung mahal niyo kahit siya lang, instead of putting malice in my posts, you help us na lang and our movie po! Para din sa mga pamilya at sa aming dalawa ang anumang magiging success ng project na yon. Okay po?!" Cuneta said.

Cuneta also that Padilla is the closest among her past boyfriends.

"He happens to be the closest to me among my exes, and truth be told, it took a long time - many years - for us to reach this stage dahil sa hindi masasayang parte ng history namin, kaya mahalaga sa akin ang maalagaan ang friendship namin na ito.

"Si Robin ang laging dumadamay sa akin at nasusumbungan ko. Siya ang nakakagulat na handang sumuporta sa mga trabaho ko. When my Mommy died, siya lang ang nagpunta sa wake ng dalawang beses at nag-attend ng mass among all my exes.

"Wala akong ex na maituturing kong totoong naging friend ko after breaking up, except for Rowell. But I am closer pa yata to Kuya Randy than to him now. Huwag po kayong mag-alala. Sa 26 years naming magkakilala ni Robin, sa unang 5 years noon ay ilang beses niya ako sinubukan balikan pero di ko po talaga kinaya kahit gusto ko. Kaya kung gusto ko siya as a lover or husband at di ako takot, sana noon pa!" she added.


Cuneta pointed out that she never "courted" her boyfriends.

"Mula nung bata ako NEVER po akong nagpakita ng motibo o humabol o lumigaw sa mga naging boyfriends ko. Kahit siguro tanungin niyo silang lahat, pati na rin mga direktor ko at kasama sa shooting, sasabihin nila totoo po yun. Pati si Kiko tanungin niyo! Kasi di naman ako gandang-ganda sa sarili ko at nagugulat pa nga ako pag may nai-in-love sa akin na di ko ini-expect noon!

Cuneta also said that she is happy for Padilla and his wife Mariel Rodriguez.

"I am very happy for Robin and Mariel and their new family. I know how much Robin loves her and he knows how precious my family is to me, too. Please, ang tanda na namin! Hahaha!" she added.

Cuneta is currently doing her fourth movie with Padilla. No title has been released for their fourth film but Cuneta hinted that it will be a romantic comedy.

Padilla and Cuneta have teamed up in blockbuster movies "Maging Sino Ka Man" (1991), "Di Na Natuto (Sorry Na Pwede Ba?)" (1993) and "Pagdating Ng Panahon" (2001). - ROBERT REQUINTINA

Megastar Sharon Cuneta has complained about the construction of her neighbor's condominium unit, saying that it brought stress to her family.
