"It's true that there are no big names in the movie. Pero proud kami sa husay at talent ng mga artista sa aming pelikulang 'Spoken Words,' " says John Ray Garcia, one of directors of the film, during a press preview of the movie held at the City Club in Makati City recently. The other director is Ronald Abad.

The movie aims to inspire people of all ages, says Abad. "It's a story of how the millennials expose or express their feeling and insights, and how they become more independent of their actions."

Spoken word refers to the modern way of poetry presentation which is being performed orally in a more artistic way with emotions involved.

                                                                       Bavick Revil

One of the stars of the film is Bavick Revil, who is the face of John Robert Powers as its billboard model on EDSA as well as on print and online media, and daughter of Vice-Governor Atty. Kaye C. Revil and former Governor Vince Revil from the province of Masbate.

The press preview also served as Bavick's send-off party as she leaves for Spain as an American Field Service Student exchange delegate from the Philippines for one school year.

"The advocacy of the film is to address the importance of the family, how we can connect ourselves in relationships to past, current, and future generations. That we need our families more than anyone else for physical, emotional and even spiritual support, too," says Garcia. It also values the importance of friendship and how we can make it stronger for a certain purpose of realization, he adds.

Abad says" "The importance of time how we can make the most out of everything that we our doing is also given focused. We have to value every moment, and we have to do whatever we want to do or whatever we want to say while there is time."
