The pre-pageant will be held on October 15 and the journey of the candidates will culminate on coronation night at the University Theatre in Diliman, Quezon City on November 10.

During press presentation held at the Novotel Manila Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City on October 9, POP NEWS PHILIPPINES asked some of the candidates a fun question: "Which one would you choose, the Queen of Quezon City crown or P1 billion lottery jackpot?" Check out who made the wise (or right) decision. - ROBERT REQUINTINA

"Siguro po yung korona na lang ng Queen of Quezon City kasi po gastadora po ako. Baka mabilis kong maubos yun. Madalas nga P10,000 isang gabi madalas kong maubos. Gusto ko pong maging impluwensiya at para magkaroon ang tao ng awareness sa LGBT members."

"To be honest, my God, P1 billion na lang! Kasi feeling ko mas marami akong matutulungan dun eh. Ang daming pera nun! Aside from that, hindi ko naman kailangan ng title para makatulong. All you need is a kind heart!"

"For me, P1 billion jackpot na lang kasi I can buy a lot of crowns with that money! hahahahaha! Masasabi ko rin naman na beauty queen ako kahit walang crown kasi maganda akong ehemplo at inspirasyon sa mga kabataan. Kaya in my on way, I am a queen kahit na walang korona."

"I will take korona ng Queen of Quezon City kasi through this platform, masasabi ko ang saloobin naming mga transgender. At saka para ma-spread 'yung awareness naming mga trans. Hindi lang po para sa akin kundi sa kabutihan na rin ng LGBT community."

"I would like to be practical. I will choose the P1 billion. However, with the crown, I would be able to touch many lives, inspire others, and influence many people. Winning the crown is almost winning the P1 billion lotto jackpot."

"Pwedeng both? hahahahaha! Long term kasi ang effect ng Queen of Quezon City. So I will choose the crown of Queen of Quezon City kasi mas marami akong matutulungan kesa sa P1 billion. Yung P1 billion kasi material thing lang yan. Nawawala siya. Pagmakoronahan ka na Queen of Quezon City for life na yan. Magiging legacy mo na yan! You can also be a voice to the members of the LGBT community.''

"Oh my God! I will pick P1 billion because I want to have my foundation and I want to push my advocacy which is to protect the children."

"Of course I will choose the crown of the Queen of Quezon City because it's very priceless. The title is lifetime for me.''
