Mader Sitang in Manila: How Filipino fans love her

Filipino fans gave a rousing welcome to Asia’s top transgender supermodel/lawyer Mader Sitang of Thailand, who is famous for her signature hair-flipping dance moves.

Mader Sitang, 59, arrived in Manila last Oct. 19 to begin a tour that will wind up on Monday, Oct. 22.

Hundreds of screaming fans cheered for Mader Sitang as she makes her head-banging moves at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Paranaque City and the hallways of SM North EDSA in Quezon City where she held her press conference.

At the H&H Makeover Salon at SM City North EDSA in Quezon City, Mader Sitang announces that former Mr. Gay World finalist-businessman Wilbert Tolentino will now become her manager.

Tolentino, also founder of Web Marketers Specialist Association of the Philippines, Inc. (WEMSAP), says Mader Sitang will do a series of shows in Europe in December.

With highest online followers in Bangkok, Mader Sitang will have a mind-blowing fun-fusion with her Filipino fans as she shows them her signature head-throw dance. One of her dance videos has already been viewed 16 million times on Youtube. Since then, many people have copied her style.

Tolentino reveals that he will produce a movie for Mader Sitang and ace comedian Vice Ganda who will soon sign up for the salon as endorser.

Former beauty queen Tintin Caballero hosts the fun-filled show for Mader Sitang.

A perfume collection - for men and women - called Simply Sitang was also launched during the press conference.

Asked where she gets the power to head-bang, Mader Sitang says: "I have strong knees! I drink a lot of milk and I exercise! I am a vegetarian and I pray a lot!"
