Politicians, private groups reach out to Mader Sitang

Asia's social media sensation Mader Sitang of Thailand, known for her hair-flipping moves, wraps up her four-day visit to Manila today, Oct. 22, as she vows to come back soon.

Wilbert Tolentino, Mr. Gay World-Philippines 2009, also a former national director; and Web Marketers Specialist Association of the Philippines, Inc. (WEMSAP) founder and President, reveals that he has received so many requests and inquiries on how they can avail of the services of Mader Sitang for their shows and programs.

Tolentino says he hasn't approved any of these requests or proposals. He will check each and everyone of these requests and inquiries after Mader Sitang has completed her Manila tour.

Mader Sitang performed in sold-out shows during the weekend and those who watched the show were simply amazed at the transgender woman. Part of the proceeds of the shows will be given to charity.

"Was able to catch the last performance of #MaderSitang (Sitang Buathong) at One 690 Entertainment Bar and boy, was it a fun time with the Thai online media sensation as she gamely did her signature head-dizzying moves not once, not twice but thrice in three separate numbers," says Norman Tinio of normannorman.com.

On Sunday, Mader Sitang and her newly appointed talent manager Wilbert Tolentino conducted a feeding program in Quezon City.

Hundreds of city residents, especially kids, lined up as they received food from the social media sensation from Thailand based on photos shared by swimsuit diva Domz Ramos of DR Swim.

Tolentino says Mader Sitang will hold a series of shows in key cities of Europe in December. He adds that Mader Sitang wants to settle in the Philippines in the near future. - ROBERT REQUINTINA
