Kids fashion designer finds success in online selling

Juvy Fantilanan is taking a break from designing kids fashion these days to give way to her online selling business dubbed Mikay Kikay Online Store.

Fantilanan, 43, tells us that she has been involved in this business for five years now. Her hubby helps her out during busy days. They have three children.

Para akong kargador,” she laughs. Would you believe she gets orders as far as Tarlac and Cavite?

Just like in fashion, where she specializes in kids fashion, Fantilanan describes herself as fussy. “Sa online selling mabusisi ako. No return, no exchange kasi ang items na kukunin ko from the suppliers. I pay in cash the items I get from the suppliers.“

For the month of July, the most popular ordered item in her store is the Samgyupsal grill from South Korea.

“Would you believe sir more than 25 pieces ang delivery ko nito for July only? Magandang pang-bonding ito sa mga pamilya lalo’t halos lahat nasa bahay lang these days,” Fantilanan said.

The next popular items are materials for v-blogging.

Speaking of food, Fantilanan sells food online. “May sari–sari store ako at online merienda.

Fantilanan’s online business is doing well, she has encouraged her son Jarryl Paralejas and his wife Rosevie Mae Santos to join the same business. “Nagulat sila malaki pala ang income rito. So ngayon enjoy sa business nila.”

In her online store, you can get quality items at cheaper price.

She gives tips to people who want to open an online store.

Fantilanan has graced the Thailand Fashion Week with her exquisite designs. She’s hopeful and praying everything will go back to normal soon. In the meantime, Fantilanan gets busy in her online shop, waiting for your orders.
