Mariah Carey prepping the release of her first-ever memoir

Mariah Carey fans will be getting a long-awaited peek behind the curtain of her illustrious life with an upcoming memoir. The Meaning of Mariah Carey, written by the chanteuse with Michaela Angela Davis will be arriving on September 29, 2020. The memoir will be available as a physical copy via Andy Cohen Books and as an audiobook performed by the singer on Audible. The story will detail Carey's journey from her childhood all the way through her meteoric rise to superstardom, plus a breakdown of the rumors told about her in the media, including battles with gender and power dynamics, emotional abuse, embarrassments, failures and victories. Megastar Sharon Cuneta celebrated her 52nd birth anniversary last January 6 as she got sentimental again over her old residence in an upscale neighborhood in Makati City. On the eve of her birth anniversary last Jan. 5, Sharon paid tribute to her late parents -- Pasay City Mayor Pablo Cuneta and Elaine Gamboa. "Pablo and Elaine Gamboa - Cuneta’s girl. Talent manager Alfie Lorenzo passes away

Talent manager and movie scribe Alfie Lorenzo passed away due to heart failure early morning of August 1. He was 78. Lorenzo's demise was confirmed by his nephew Ramon Lorenzo on ABS CBN. The remains of the popular talent manager will lie at the Arlington Memorial Chapel in Quezon City starting Tuesday night, August 1. Later, Lorenzo's remains were cremated. His ashes were brought to his family in Pampanga. Lorenzo is known as the discoverer of actress Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo and other showbiz personalities. On her Instagram post, Santos bid goodbye to her talent manager. "It is with deep sadness that we pray for our Dear Tito Alfie who has joined our Creator at 2:12 this morning.
