Kapuso fans wait for Alden Richards under the tree



Back in those days nung nakatira pa kami sa may Timog area, in Quezon City at malapit lang kami sa GMA 7 studios, almost everyday ay nakakakita ako ng mga artista or personalities doon.

There was a time papunta ako sa MRT station at nakasalubong ko ang ilang Kapuso stars tulad nila Mark Herras and Glaiza De Castro habang papatawid sa kabilang buiding.

Pero ang hindi ko yata malilimutan na sighting ay 'yung tungkol kay Alden Richards. That was several years ago.

Wala lang. Naalala ko lang sya ngayon kasi sikat na sikat na sya.

One time, late in the afternoon, while waiting for a cab malapit sa kanto ng Timog and Scout Rallos Streets, may mga nakita akong grupo ng fans na nag-aantay sa ilalim ng puno.

Siguro mga less than 100 lang sila. I asked myself, "Sino kaya ang inaantay ng mga ito?"

Maya-maya lamang, may dumating na black van mula sa GMA studios papuntang Timog.

Pumarada ang van sa tapat ng mga nag-aantay na fans at nag-hiyawan ang mga ito.

Naki-usyoso ako at lumapit ako ng konti sa kanila. Kunyari nag-aantay ako ng taxi sa may area nila.

Maya-maya lang ay bumukas na ang door ng van at lumabas na ang inaantay nila --- none other than Alden Richards.

I recalled that moment na naka-all black outfit nuon si Alden.

Niyakap sya ng mga fans at hinalikan. Ang iba naman ay nagpa-picture. Pero halos lahat sila ay nagpa-autograph.

I told myself: ''Okay naman pala sya at talagang hinintuan pa niya ang mga fans niya."

Yung ibang artista kasi either lampasan lang ang mga fans nila or bubuksan na lang ang bintana ng van nila sabay kaway at pa tweetums na lang.

I  don't know kung pwede pang gawin uli iyon ni Alden ngayon na super sikat na siya. For sure, dudumugin na siya this time.

Whatever success he is reaping these days, he deserves it cause tingin ko mabait naman siya sa mga fans niya.

Matt Evans shows love for family, mom

Filipino-American actor Matt Evans has said that he appreciates his mother and his family more these days with the help of his afternoon teleserye "The Greatest Love" aired weekdays on ABS-CBN.
