James Reid heads 'Careless Music' record label

Filipino-Australian actor James Reid is not just into acting but he is also focused on music. In fact, Reid has come up with his own music label called "Careless Music" where he is the Chief Executive Officer and President. "I wanna have my own record label so that I can have my own creative freedom," said Reid, during an interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS CBN. "It started as an inside joke. A lot of people call me careless so I decided to use it." Reid is also up for several awards at the Myx Music Awards 2018 which will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City on May 15. Newly crowned Mrs. Asia Pacific Tourism 2018 Mitzie Go Gil couldn't believe what a monk had told her days before she competed for the international pageant. "I attended an event and actress Ara Mina introduced me to a monk. Then the monk told me that he saw a vision where I would be holding a trophy or a torch in gold," said Gil during her homecoming and victory party in Pasig City recently. Gil, 40, said that she was surprised when the vision of the monk became a reality and she won Mrs. Asia Pacific Tourism 2018. "I didn't take his words seriously. In fact, I didn't tell him I was joining a beauty contest." She went home with a gold-plated trophy from the pageant. Oblena-Nasser has been appointed chairperson of the Mr. Universe Tourism 2018 contest as she promised to come up with the best production in this year's male pageant. Nasser is the president of the Legacy Group of Companies and Inner Wheel Club Philippines International. A 24-year-old Filipino-Australian model earned the right to represent the Philippines in Miss Universe after she was crowned at the 55th Bb. Pilipinas beauty pageant held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City early Monday morning. Catriona Gray, of Albay, Bicol, has been a crowd favorite to win the coveted crown since Day 1 of the Bb. Pilipinas contest as she edged out 39 other girls for the title. Gray represented the Philippines in the 2016 Miss World beauty contest held in Maryland, USA where she finished in Top 5. It is rare for a Filipino beauty queen to compete in the Miss Universe pageant after she represented the country in its rival pageant Miss World.
