Miss Earth 2018 beauties share their heartfelt wishes

The Miss Earth 2018 beauty pageant is nearing homestretch as it almost wraps up its pre-pageant activities leading towards the grand coronation night on Nov. 3. While the preliminary judging for BEAUTY of FACE and POISE is finished, the 87 candidates will hurdle  two more important pre-pageant activities: FIGURE and FORM Preliminary Judging (Century Park Hotel) on Oct. 29; and INTELLIGENCE and ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS Preliminary Judging (Diamond Hotel) on Nov. 1. Prior to that, we asked 10 candidates of Miss Earth 2018 pageant under Water Group at random the question: "If God will grant you one wish, what would it be?" Some of the candidates under the Water Group are delegates from Austria, Italy, Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Malta, Serbia, Ukraine, Bahamas, Guadaloupe, Guatemala, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Egypt, Ethiopia, Liberia, Reunion Island, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Israel, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, ...

PH beauty wins Miss Asia Pacific evening gown competition

The Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 pre-pageant activities wrapped up as Miss Philippines Sharifa Areef Mohammad Omar Akeel won the Best In Evening Gown Competition during a special show held at Alta D' Tagaytay Hotel in Tagaytay City on Friday, Sept. 28. First-runner-up honors in the same competition went to Miss Brazil, Gabriela Palma; and Miss Uruguay, Natalia Gurgel, 2nd runner-up. Other winners of special awards were: University of Perpetual Help Systems Ambassadors -  India - Abhilasha Agrawal; Japan - Momoe Yada; Philippines - Sharifa Areef Mohammad Omar Akeel; El Salvador - Olga Maria Flores Ortiz; and Myanmar - Yee Yee San; Philippines - Sharifa Areef Mohammad Omar Akeel, Miss ISkin; and Myanmar - Yee Yee San, Miss Zanea. Brazilian beauty tops MAPI swimsuit competition

Miss Brazil Gabriela Palma topped the swimsuit competition of the Miss Asia Pacific International (MAPI) 2018 pre-pageant held in Vigan, Ilocos Sur Sunday. Palma was also proclaimed Miss Safari Hotel and Villas special award. Miss Philippines Sharifa Akeel finished first runner-up in the MAPI pre-pageant competition. Miss Uruguay Natalia Gurgel was 2nd runner-up. Fifty girls from around the world are competing in the 50th edition of the contest. After Miss Asia Pacific, what's next for Francielly Ouriques?

Reigning Miss Asia Pacific International Francielly Ouriques of Brazil is set to transfer her crown on Oct. 4. But Francielly says that she is not ready to rest her laurels on pageants: she is planning to join the Miss Universe beauty contest next year. "I have been thinking about a couple of pageants that I want to participate. The one thing that I'm thinking about is Miss Universe next year. Now I am a little bit afraid of the exposure that it will give to me so I'm still thinking about it. Let's see if this works out. But Miss Universe is the one I'm looking forward to," says Francielly, during an exclusive interview upon her arrival at the NAIA 1 in Paranaque City last June 25.
