Suki-ya Restaurant sizzles in Fairview, QC

Image
There's a new destination where you can find delicious shabu-shabu and sukiyaki! And yes! It's eat-all-you-want! For the first time, food lovers in Manila sampled the delectable and healthy treats of the popular Suki-ya Restaurant during its soft opening at SM Fairview in Quezon City last Nov. 4, 2019. It will also open at Ayala Mall Manila Bay in Paranaque City. Hours before the soft opening, diners lined up outside the resto to sample the wholesome treats. This is the same resto that has attracted food lovers in 19 Suki-ya branches in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. Bonnie Wong, chief operating officer, CreativEateries, recalled how the food company tied up with the Cabalen Group of Companies. "Ms Maritel O. Nievera (owner of Cabalen Restairant) saw one of our stores in Malaysia. Soon, we met in Singapore and we got along very well. So quickly in March I went to Manila and now we opened," said Wong during an interview at the restaurant's soft ...

There's a wide array of mouth-watering Japanese food for everyone here. Whether you're craving Beef Udon or Oyakodon (chicken rice bowl), this restaurant got you covered with its sumptuous selections. Although I'm not a fan of thick-cut noodles, I must say that their Beef Udon is really good and has a distinct taste. The ambience of the restaurant is an open area, no glass windows with 3 air-conditioners inside to keep it ventilated, and sources of air condition of the mall. There was also an open kitchen as they will cook or prepare your...

Say oishi at Okonomiyaki Chibo Japanese Restaurant

Image
Obviously, there's no shrimp or vegetable tempura at the Okonomiyki Chibo Restaurant located at the 5th level of the Podium at Ortigas in Mandaluyong City. What they have is the delightful fusion of teppanyaki and okonomiyaki. For those of you who are not familiar with Japanese dishes, teppanyaki is a style of Japanese cuisine that uses iron griddle to cook food. Okonomiyaki simply refers to Japanese pancakes. In the Philippines, the first branch of Okonomiyaki Chibo opened at S Maison at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City in June 2016. Two years later, the second branch opened at the Podium. "At the S Maison branch, we have cooking tables there. Whereas here at the Podium, we only have the usual tables here because our customers here are fast-paced. They don't have the time to cook," a staff member of the restaurant said. The resto has introduced delicious executive premium set meals which every lover of Japanese food will surely apprec...
