Alliance of various sectors in live events formed

A group of sectors involved in live events has been formed dubbed National Live Events Coalition Philippines. The full press statement of NLEC PH: "Live events was the first to feel the impact of the crisis when events were cancelled as early as January 2020 when news of the pandemic broke out. Live events is now deemed the last to recover; "Live events is an “experience industry” with a chain linking various sectors – from theatre, weddings and social events, AVL (audio-video and lights) and staging suppliers, agencies and activations, concerts, gigs and festivals, freelance production workers, conventions and venues; "What many don’t realize is how large this ecosystem is and the impact on this industry is far, wide, and deep; "Formed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and its critical impact on the many people behind this industry, various sectors of the Live Events Industry banded together last April 29 in alliance to what is now aptly named the National Live ...

Martin Nievera admits loving 2 women at once

Singer Martin Nievera has admitted that that he had relationships with two women at the same time but advised the public not to do it. "Yes!" said Nievera, when asked if he had relationships with two women at the same time, during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS CBN. Nievera, however, regretted being in that kind of situation. He did not identify the two women. "You know children, sometimes, time overlaps. Sometimes you are finished you didn't know you were finished because you were just starting and you were finished, but I did!" the 55-year-old singer said. Asked about lessons learned, Nievera said: "The lesson I learned is that it's not fair to the women. We think we're doing everything for our pleasure and it doesn't work." OPM singer Martin Nievera has advised aspiring singers to be kind to everyone if they wanted to succeed in the music industry. "Don't forget who you are, where you came from. As you reach for the stars, keep your feet planted," said Martin, during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS CBN. "Please enjoy what you're doing. Embrace the mistakes. Let them be life lessons and let that reason you to be the singer that you want to be the singer and performer that you want to be; "But more than anything, don't forget the people that you met on your way up because they will be the same people that you will meet on your way down," said Martin. "So be kind to everyone. Treat people the way you want to be treated and you will be a superstar," he said.
