Villar: Cleaner environment should be the ‘new normal’

            Senator Cynthia Villar said that besides health and hygiene, the environment also plays a crucial role in the prevention in the spread and minimizing the effects of the coronavirus or Covid-19. GENEVA - FIFA, the international governing body of football, and the World Health Organization (WHO) have teamed up to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19) by launching a new awareness campaign led by world-renowned footballers, who are calling on all people around the world to follow five key steps to stop the spread of the disease. 'Battle in the Blood' to premier at 2018 Int'l AIDS Conference

"Battle in the Blood," a mobile HIV/AIDS advocacy game app for HIV prevention, will have its world premiere launching at the 22nd International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on July 23-27. The World Health Organization (WHO) organized the global networking zone event “Building Bridges to HIV Prevention and Testing” as part of the Global Village and Youth Programme Activities of the conference. WHO, together with the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), World Council of Churches-Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance (WCC-EAA), UNITAID, PSI and SheDecides, will join forces to raise awareness in order to make HIV testing a reality for all. The WHO invited the HIV GET Project team to present and launch the mobile game app "Battle in the Blood" during the conference.
