PHL smashes world record for largest zumba class
The Philippines now holds the record for the largest zumba class after some 100 zumba instructors in the country led by Ron Antonio kept a crowd of 13,350 fitness enthusiasts dancing for 30 minutes. The record was achieved in Camarines Sur through the efforts of Governor Migz Villafuerte last May 19, 2018. The challenge was not only for Ron to keep the crowd dancing for 30 minutes and in sync with the music and the choreography of the instructors but also to overcome the forces of natures and all factors that he cannot control. During the registration at the provincial capitol grounds, it rained so hard. But the crowd patiently waited for hours rain or shine. With prayers and God’s grace, a new Guinness World Record was achieved. Despite the stress and hardship, the event was successful.
