AirBit Club holds its 1st seminar, meeting for 2018

AirBit Club is an organization that promoting and using Bitcoin, considered the most popular cryptocurrency in the world. The club holds its annual seminar and meeting for 2018 at the grand ballroom of Shangril-La Hotel in Bonifacio Global City last Nov. 24. The assembly was attended by the active members of the club as well as interested individuals who can be prospective members in the future. The club was established way back in 2016 with the objective to enlightened the general public on the origin of Bitcoin, its advantages and where and how to use it. Special guest speaker during the forum is no less than the club Master Council here in the country, and a former UAAP athlete champion Dr. Tom Academia Jr. who tackled how the Bitcoin will work in the market. Summit to help make OFWs financially-smart

The yearly summit that became the go-to event for trainings and discussions designed to address the needs of the overseas Filipino workers and their dependents will be having its eighth edition this month. Sen. Cynthia Villar, in her capacity as director of the Villar Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance (Villar SIPAG), announced that the 8th OFW and Family Summit will be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on Nov. 21. The one-day summit with the theme “OFW: Perang Pinaghirapan, Palaguin,” will be focusing on topics that will guide OFWs and their families how to make their money grow. “We all know a story about an OFW who, after years of toiling abroad, comes home with little or no savings. UnionBank has formally opened the doors of The Ark, the first fully digital bank branch in the Philippines. Using digital technology to augment an actual banking experience, The ARK by UnionBank delivers on its promise of a new digital platform experience in banking. "The ARK was established by UniinBank to address the common pain points in banking. Falling in line, getting a number before being attended to, spending a lot of time in the bank, which could have been used in, otherwise,  more productive endeavors. Jan Louie Ngo sets sights on televison and beyond

Three months before his reign ends as Mister Chinatown Philippines, hunky Filipino-Chinese Jan Louie Ngo said that he is ready to embark on a new journey on television and even trading. "It was great actually. Before, I came from the bank, I was actually a trader there, foreign exchange. After I won, sobrang nagbago ang life ko," said Ngo, during an interview at the launch of Mister Universe Tourism 2017 pageant at Brown Restaurant in Mandaluyong City on June 28. "Right now, I'm one of the hosts of 'Swak na Swak' on ABS CBN. From the transition there, from a banker to ABS CBN, I was empowered because of Mister and Miss Chinatown Philippines.
