Miss Scuba Philippines 2018 appeals: 'Avoid using plastic'

A forensic anthropologist from Aklan will represent the Philippines in the 8th Miss Scuba International pageant which will be held in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, as she steps up the campaign to discourage the public from using plastic, still one of the major irritants in marine preservation these days. "Right now, the Philippines is third largest contributor of plastic in the ocean. So we’re really trying to get out of the top 3 zone.
