Arnold Vegafria slams Agot Isidro for 'sensitivity' comments

Arnold L. Vegafria, business manager of Senator Manny Pacquiao, slammed on Thursday night actress-singer Agot Isidro after she described as insensitive a recent Instagram post of Jinkee Pacquiao, wife of the senator, on luxury bicycles. On Instagram July 9,  Vegaria told Isidro that it is none of her business to judge or discuss the wealth of the Pacquiaos. Vegafria's full reaction: "What’s your issue, Agot?" It seems like the Miss World Philippines beauty contest is living up to its new title as pageant of the stars. This after three showbiz personalities enlisted for the screening of Miss World Philippines 2019 beauty pageant. Now under the helm of talent manager Arnold Vegafria, the past years saw upcoming movie and television stars screened for the Miss World Philippines contest and successfully made it. Actress Megan Lynne Young represented the Philippines in Miss World 2013 and went on to become the first Filipina to win the elusive blue crown. Actress Teresita 'Winwyn" Marquez, daughter of showbiz personalities Alma Moreno and Joey Marquez, notched the country's first Reina Hispanoamericana crown in Bolivia in 2017. Mr. World PHL 2018 contest postponed due to typhoon

Organizers of the Mr. World Philippines 2018 contest has issued a statement on the postponement of the male pageant due to the typhoon "Ompong." The full statement: "Due to the super typhoon expected to hit the country within the next few days, the organizers and production team behind the Mr. World Philippines 2018 pageant have unanimously agreed to reschedule the pageant originally scheduled for Saturday, September 15, at Resorts World Manila’s Newport Performing Arts Theater; "The new pageant date and venue will be announced very soon."

Fil-German Cynthia Thomalla is Miss Eco International 2018

The Philippines captured its first pageant title this year after a Cebuana beauty queen was crowned Miss Eco International 2018 during a contest held in Egypt last Friday (Saturday morning Manila time). Cynthia Thomalla bested 51 other candidates in the international pageant that focuses on humanitarian, social and environmental issues. Thomalla, 22, is the last of four beauty queens who competed abroad under the Miss World Philippines franchise owned by Arnold Vegafria, business manager of Senator Manny Pacquiao. Other reigning beauty queens under Miss World Philippines who won titles were Teresita Marquez, Reina Hispamoamericana; and Sophia Senoron, Miss Multinational. Manila to stage Mr World pageant 2018 in September

For the first time in 22 years, the Mister World pageant will be held in the Philippines in September. This was announced by Arnold Vegafria, of the ALV Events International, during a press conference for the send-off of Cynthia Thomnalla who will represent the country in the Miss Eco International pageant to be held in Egypt. "More than 120 male contestants from around the world will converge in the Philippines for this prestigious male pageant," said Vegafria, also business manager of Senator Manny Pacquiao. No exact date has been set for the finals of the international male pageant, owned by the Miss World Organization under its chairwoman Julia Morley. Vegafria, franchisee for the Miss World Philippines pageant, said that he has been discussing with Morley for the staging of the Mister World pageant in the Philippines since 2016. Sophia Senoron wins Miss Multinational 2018 pageant

Sophia Senoron, a varsity debater of San Beda University, was crowned Miss Multinational 2018 during a pageant held in New Delhi, India on Monday night, February 26. Senoron was crowned by Arnold Vegafria, franchise director of Miss World Philippines pageant. The national director of the winning delegate has been tasked to crown the winner. Prior to this, Senoron said that she is ready to compete in the inaugural beauty pageant. "I want to take this positively. I want to show the Philippines that I'm ready for this. I'm not that little girl anymore. How true that Arnold Vegafria, national director of Miss World Philippines, will be one of the telecast judges for Miss World 2017 beauty contest in Sanya, China on Nov. 18? If that's the case, then Vegafria will make history as the first Filipino to serve as a judge in the longest-running beauty pageant. Cory Quirino: Relations with Arnold Vegafria 'cordial'

Health and wellness guru and television personality Cory Quirino has clarified that it was the Miss World Organization (MWO) led by chairwoman Julia Morley who appointed talent manager Arnold Vegafria as the newest franchise holder of the Miss World Philippines beauty contest. "There is no need to turn over as he was already appointed by the Miss World Organization," said Quirino in an exclusive interview, when asked if there would be turn over ceremonies for the new franchise holder of Miss World Philippines pageant. Quirino added that she won't be attending the forthcoming launch of the Miss World Philippines 2017 under Vegafria soon. "I wasn't informed about his press conference." But Quirino said that her relationship with Vegafria remains cordial. "We parted professionally during my partnership with Viva Films last year. However, we have always maintained cordial relations.
