Christian Bables finds happiness with older women

Actor Christian M. Bables has revealed that he prefers older women in a relationship. "Meron po akong things for older girls. Pero ngayon, ang mga nakaka crush-an ko lang naman ngayon mga Michelle Vito. Crush lang po," said Bables when asked about her crush, during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS CBN. "Hindi po alam ito ng pamilya ko pero yung last ko pong girlfriend she's 38. And naging kami, 22 ako," Bables added. But the 24-year-old actor has said that he is single these days. "Ngayon po siguro wala muna. Hanggang tingin-tingin lang muna. Hanggang stalk stalk muna." Bables rose to fame when he played a gay role opposite Paolo Ballesteros in the hit movie "Die Beautiful" where he won awards and got nominations from award-giving bodies. Christian Bables gets an indecent proposal

Urian best supporting actor Christian Bables has admitted receiving an indecent proposal from an unidentified gay man. "Naglalakad ako sa may 7-11 at may tumigil na kotse. Ttapos binaba nya po (ang bintana), tapos sinitsitan nya ako. 'Boy, isang libo!' Sabi nyang ganun," said Bables, during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS CBN. Bables, 24, added: "Natakot po ako eh. Umalis na ako." The "Die Beautiful" best supporting actor recalled those days when he was being rejected when he was just starting in the movies. "Pangit daw po ako tapos hindi raw po ako magaling. Kumbaga wala raw po akong kakayahan na abutin yung pagiging actor simple because hindi ko raw kaya," said Bables. 'Women of the Weeping River' tops 40th Urian awards

"Women of the Weeping River," a film about two women who attempt to stop violence brought about by the blood feud in a Muslim community, dominated the 40th Gawad Urian held at the Studio 10 of ABS CBN last Thursday night. "Women" won six awards, including Best picture and Best director, during ceremonies presented by members of the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino. "Die Beautiful," a comedy-drama about Filipino transgender, also took home awards in the acting category. The critically-acclaimed movie won awards for its lead star Paolo Ballesteros, who came in costume, Best actor; and Christian Bables, Best supporting actor. "Die Beautiful," a comedy-drama about a Filipino transgender, led the inaugural Entertainment Editors' Choice Awards for Movies or the Eddy's with 13 nominations. The films "Pamilya Ordinaryo," "Saving Sally," and "Everything About Her" received 12 nominations each. The Eddy's was organized by the Philippine Society of Entertainment Editors (Speed). "Given our collective experience and many decades of chronicling the careers, artistic processes, and the successes and failures of actors, directors, producers and other players in the Philippine movie industry, we feel we are in a distinctive position to hand out sound recognition for the best in filmmaking over the past year,” Isah V. Red, Speed president and Manila Standard entertainment editor, said in a statement.
