A police officer from Valenzuela City who nearly quit because he met an accident in Makati City won the inaugural Mister Working Men International in Bangkok, Thailand. Corporal Willy Quinto bested male professionals from around the world during the competition. Quinto said that the Mister Working Men International 2019 pageant would be his final stint in pageantry because "we're not getting any younger." Previously, Quinto competed in national pageants such as Mister and Miss Philippines, Misters of Filipinas, and Mr. World Philippines. In 2016, Quinto was named the best-looking policeman when he was named the grand winner of Gwapulis 2016 contest in ABS-CBN's morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda."
