Valenzuela cop wins Mister Working Men International 2019 in Thailand

A police officer from Valenzuela City who nearly quit because he met an accident in Makati City won the inaugural Mister Working Men International in Bangkok, Thailand.

Corporal Willy Quinto bested male professionals from around the world during the competition.

Quinto said that the Mister Working Men International 2019 pageant would be his final stint in pageantry because "we're not getting any younger."

Previously, Quinto competed in national pageants such as Mister and Miss Philippines, Misters of Filipinas, and Mr. World Philippines.

In 2016, Quinto was named the best-looking policeman when he was named the grand winner of Gwapulis 2016 contest in ABS-CBN's morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda."

Quinto, dubbed the "Dancing Cop," won house and lot and year's supply of groceries.

It would be recalled that Quinto lost his fighting spirit when he figured in an accident on Edsa in Makati City last Sept. 29.

Quinto said that he was riding a big bike when he met an accident, according to his social media post.

He completely recovered few days before he left for the contest in Bangkok. (Robert R. Requintina)
