'Mutya' president backs 'Binibini' at Miss Grand Int'l 2018 pageant

Mutya ng Pilipinas President Hemilyn Escudero Tamayo has expressed support to Binibini Eva Psychee Patalinjug who is currently competing at the Miss Grand International 2018 beauty pageant in Myanmar. "Hello Friends! Please support our very own representative to Miss Grand International Eva Patalinjug! Thank you ❤️," says Tamayo on Facebook. It would be recalled that Patalinjug was a former Mutya ng Pilipinas beauty queen before she competed in Binibining Pilipinas 2018 where she won Miss Grand Philippines. "The candidate is a good friend of mine, she is working and is a law student at the same time," says Tamayo on the comments section of her Facebook. PH beauty wins Miss Asia Pacific evening gown competition

The Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 pre-pageant activities wrapped up as Miss Philippines Sharifa Areef Mohammad Omar Akeel won the Best In Evening Gown Competition during a special show held at Alta D' Tagaytay Hotel in Tagaytay City on Friday, Sept. 28. First-runner-up honors in the same competition went to Miss Brazil, Gabriela Palma; and Miss Uruguay, Natalia Gurgel, 2nd runner-up. Jewel of the World 2018 pageant launched in historic Malolos

The inaugural Jewel of the World beauty pageant, an international contest that celebrates cultural diversity, kicked off in the historic city of Malolos in Bulacan over the weekend. "Jewel of the World pageant is a celebration of the multi-cultural world we all live in through a super bowl of beauty that highlights the distinct and unique cultural and heritage of the participating countries. It is inspired by the May 21 declaration of the UN General Assembly as the World Day for Cultural Diversity," said John dela Vega, director of the pageant, during an interview. Twelve countries are competing for the first Jewel of the World contest.
