'Mutya' president backs 'Binibini' at Miss Grand Int'l 2018 pageant
Mutya ng Pilipinas President Hemilyn Escudero Tamayo has expressed support to Binibini Eva Psychee Patalinjug who is currently competing at the Miss Grand International 2018 beauty pageant in Myanmar.
"Hello Friends! Please support our very own representative to Miss Grand International Eva Patalinjug! Thank you ❤️," says Tamayo on Facebook.
It would be recalled that Patalinjug was a former Mutya ng Pilipinas beauty queen before she competed in Binibining Pilipinas 2018 where she won Miss Grand Philippines.
"The candidate is a good friend of mine, she is working and is a law student at the same time," says Tamayo on the comments section of her Facebook.
Patalinjug says she is an advocate of End Child Prostitution Inn Asian Tourism (ECPAT), an agency that helps children and women who are victims of domestic violence, rape, prostitution and other related cases.
"Through my efforts as a beauty queen, I want to help the victims of domestic violence, rape, prostitution and other similar cases," says Patalinjiug in a recent interview.
Patalinjug, 23, is also taking up law at the University of San Carlos in Cebu City. But she is on a school break these days to focus on the pageant.
Aside from her law studies, Patalinjug is an entrepreneur who sells Psychee's Cosmetics online and distributes them in several department stores also in Cebu.
