Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 pageant postponed indefinitely

The Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 beauty pageant in Bolivia has been postponed indefinitely due to political unrest in the country. The grand coronation was scheduled to be held on November 9. Miss Philippines Katrina Llegado has left Bolivia and headed for Canada to be with her family. "See you again, Bolivia! Your people are both beautiful and tough. I admire the strength of your conviction. I humbly ask for prayers for Bolivia. This after three showbiz personalities enlisted for the screening of Miss World Philippines 2019 beauty pageant. Pageant fans missed out on Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez of the Philippines when the official candidates for this year's Reina Hispanoamericana 2018 pageant on-going in Bolivia were presented to the press. During the special show broadcast live on social media last Monday (Tuesday in Manila), pageant fans noticed that Alvarez was not among the 30 official candidates presented to the international media. Alvarez, 22, daughter of actress Almira Muhlach and basketball star Paul Alvarez, says that she skipped the press presentation because her flight was delayed due to bad weather. Teresita 'Winwyn' Marquez renews contract with GMA 7

Reigning Reina Hispanoamericana Teresita Marquez is staying with GMA 7 network! This was revealed by Marquez during an interview at the send-off for Cynthia Thomalla, the country's representative to the Miss Eco International beauty contest in Egypt. "Kapuso pa rin!" said Marquez when asked if she would renew her contract with GMA 7 which expired last February 15. Arnold Vegafria, manager of Marquez, said: "She will sign a three-year contract for GMA 7. She will have a teleserye where she will be the lead star." Marquez, 25, has been loyal to GMA 7 since she entered television in 2010. The last time Marquez appeared on Kapuso television series was in 2017 for "Encantadia" and "Mulawin vs Ravena." Marquez also maintained that she wanted the people to call her Teresita instead of Winwyn but she believes that it will take time before her fans would get used to it. Reina Hispanoamericana Teresita Marquez has revealed that she was hurt by rumors that she was an adopted child because she doesn't look her mother actress-turned-politician Alma Moreno. "There were rumors that I was adopted. I didn't look my mom. S'yempre masakit 'yun for me. I've asked my mom, 'am I your kid?' How true that Arnold Vegafria, national director of Miss World Philippines, will be one of the telecast judges for Miss World 2017 beauty contest in Sanya, China on Nov. 18? If that's the case, then Vegafria will make history as the first Filipino to serve as a judge in the longest-running beauty pageant. Vegafria, who owns the ALV Events International, took over as franchise holder of the beauty pageant from television host and wellness guru Cory Quirino in July. Actress Alma Moreno has said that her daughter Kapuso actress Winwyn Marquez is of age now to get married but advised her to enjoy being single first. "Nasa edad na si Winwyn. She's 25.
