Binibining Pilipinas 2020 candidates to be trained by Catriona Gray

Ms. Stella Marquez Araneta, chair of Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI), has announced that Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will conduct e-training sessions for the candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2020. Gray will be joined by Binibining Pilipinas - Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves to teach the 2020 candidates how to stand out and win in a beauty pageant. “We are delighted that Catriona and Nicole will provide online training and pageant prep classes to help this year's batch of 40 candidates and give each of them a winning chance,” said Ms. Araneta. “Being in a beauty pageant competition requires a lot of preparation and hard work. Miss Universe PH franchise stays with Araneta Group, says MUO

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) finally put an end to speculations that the Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) franchise has been awarded to the group of Ilocos Sur Gov. Luis Chavit Singson. In an official statement, the MUO said that it will continue working with the Araneta Group on Binibining Pilipinas. Bb Pilipinas fetes Miss Intercontinental Karen Gallman

The Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. led by its chair Stella Marquez Araneta feted newly crowned Miss Intercontinental Karen Gallman after she won the international crown which has been elusive for the Philippines for 47 years. Gallman's victory now joins the league of Filipino beauty queens for the longest gap of winning an international pageant crown. Aside from the Miss Intercontinental title, it took 42 year for the Philippines to capture the Miss Universe title the third time after Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach won in 2015. A homecoming fit for a queen awaits Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray when she returns to Manila on Feb. 20, pageant organizers announced Feb. 1. Alongside her Binibining Pilipinas family, Gray will hold activities with select media and VIP guests, and participate in charitable activities with the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. Chair Mrs. Stella Marquez Araneta. One of the highlights of Gray’s return to the Philippines will be the Grand Homecoming Parade that will provide fans and all Filipinos the chance to see and support Miss Universe through their attendance. The Grand Parade will take the fourth Filipina Miss Universe to the streets of Manila and Makati on Feb. 21. Catriona will again be welcomed with a homecoming parade at the Araneta Center on Feb. 23. Pilipinas 2018 beauty pageant, the 40 official candidates of the prestigious local beauty contest were finally presented to the press during a special show held at the Novotel Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City last February 21. Garbed in their stylish swimsuits of DR SWIM by Domz Ramos, the girls paraded individually as they introduced themselves to a jampacked crowd of past beauty queens, sponsors and media men. "Several weeks after they were chosen, every time that we see them, they got better. It's that time of the year when some of the candidates of the Bb. Pilipinas beauty contest treat their fans, pageant enthusiasts and the media to an afternoon of entertainment. Fifteen of the 40 candidates of the Binibining Pilipinas 2018 pageant danced, sang and played instruments to a packed and appreciative crowd during the talent competition held at the Farmer's Plaza in Cubao last February 10. Although the result of the talent show will have no bearing in the finals, the girls made extra effort to present their individual talents. The winner of the Miss Talent special award will be announced during the grand coronation of the Bb. Pilipinas 2018 pageant at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on March 18.
