The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced that the jackpot prize for the 6/58 Ultra Lotto already reached P704,720,320.00. But as of Sept. 23, no one has won the jackpot. The PCSO says that the next draw for the 6/58 Ultra Lotto will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25. The next draw will be on Friday, Sept. 28. By then, the jackpot is seen to reach P765 million. Could you be the lucky one? So far, the Grand Lotto 6/55 has produced the biggest jackpot in the history of Philippine lottery —P741 million --- when a “balikbayan” from New York City won in November 2010. 30 candidates vie for gov't ambassadors vs HIV/AIDS

Thirty candidates - 10 men, 10 women and 10 transgender women - are vying for ambassadors of the government's campaign against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) which causes Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). The 30 official "redvocates" of the contest known as LHIVE Free tri-pageant were formally presented to the press during a special show held at House Manila in Pasay City last Sept. 20. They are: male category - Richard Prayco, Joshua Jimenea, Joseph Xavier Pili, Abdullah Silawi, Kelvin Kai Angala, Roland John Torres, Julian Mari Lee, Jearu Ed Magbuhat and Joeser Sinfuego. Kapuso star Ruru Madrid can't wait for his fans to watch "Barangay 143," the first Filipino anime that also features the favorite sports of many Filipinos which is basketball. The much-awaited Filipino anime series will debut on GMA 7 sometime in October. In the series, Ruru plays Wax, one of the lead characters. "I'm very happy to be part of this project kasi this is the first time na Japan and Philippines na mag-collaborate through an anime series. I'm also a fan of anime and basketball," the 20-year-old actor says. Ruru adds: ""Sobrang fan talaga ako ng anime. Villar leads LPPCHEA cleanup for Int’l Coastal Clean-Up Day

Senator Cynthia A. Villar led coast lovers and environmental warriors in picking debris and garbage littering the stretch of the 175-hectares Las Piñas-Parañaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area (LPPCHEA) in celebration of this year's International Coastal Clean-Up Day. Villar was quick to shed off her working clothes and put on her gloves as she joined some 1,352 volunteers clean up trash in the 20 stations set up within the Las Pinas Paranaque Wetland Park, one of Ramsar Convention’s Wetlands of International Importance. Panama beauty wows in national costume show

The pre-pageant show for the Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 beauty pageant kicked off with colorful traditions and culture as 50 candidates paraded in their national costumes at  Conrad luxury hotel in Pasay City Sept. 18. Miss Panama Kilmara Nayubel Carvajal was named Best in National Costume. Miss Vietnam Huynh Thuy V was 1st runner-up while Miss Philippines Sharifa Areef Mohammad Omar Akeel, 2nd runner-up.                                 From left: Miss Vietnam, Miss Panama and Miss Philippines. It's Maroon 5's turn to sizzle at the Super Bowl Halftime Show at the Mercedez Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia on February 3, 2019, multiple sources say. Maroon 5 follows 2018 halftime performer Justin Timberlake. Previous artists who appeared in the halftime show include Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and BeyoncĂ©.
