Bless Las Paellas to open at SM North Edsa in QC

There's no stopping Bless Las Paellas, an exquisite dining place owned by Jessie Maloles and business partner Nelson Mendoza, from serving the best Spanish dishes in the country.

Following the successful opening of Bless Las Paellas restos in SM Moa and Davao City, the popular dining area will hit SM North Edsa in Quezon City soon.

Maloles hinted on her Facebook that she just got a business permit for the opening of the restaurant in Quezon City.

"Bless Las Paellas SM North Edsa.
Soon to Open!#BusinessPermitReady," she said on FB.

Paella, a popular Spanish rice dish stuffed with chicken, shrimp, clams, chorizo and vegetables, is now an affordable dish for every Filipino.

Thanks to Bless Las Paellas, a casual restaurant which offers Spanish fusion cuisine and other Filipino dishes, which opened its fourth branch at Vista Mall in Taguig City recently. Other branches of Bless Las Paellas can be found at BF Homes in Paranaque; Vista Mall Nuvali, and Greenhills, Promenade, in San Juan City, SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City and Davao City.

Maloles, also known as the Queen of Paella, said that the recipes at Bless Las Paellas were inspired by trips and travels abroad.

She did a throwback on how Bless Las Paellas came to be. "I just love to eat! I don't have any vices but food. The dishes at Bless Las Paellas were inspired by the restaurants we visited abroad. We did some research about the food, that's why some of our dishes are a fusion Spanish-Filipino."

Her vision for Bless Las Paella began when she dreamed of bringing Spanish food to the country. In May 2017, Maloles and Mendoza finally acquired the rights of Las Paellas. "From Las Paellas, we changed the name to Bless Las Paellas. Bless means pinagpala in Pilipino."

With matching exquisite interior and enticing vibe, Bless Las Paellas serves three kinds of Paellas - Marinara, Valenciana, and Negra.

"They say it's delicious. I don't tell them it's delicious. I just allow them to say that. I want that delicious experience to come from the customers who patronize Bless Las Paella," she said.

The interior has a touch of gold. "Our concept has a touch of gold. For me, it looks wonderful if there's a touch of gold. It looks luxurious. That's why we chose gold and we want the area to be cozy."

Aside from being affordable, Bless Las Paellas wants to provide clean and high-quality food, said Mendoza. "So I told Jessie, why don't we make Paella available to the common people?"

"We are inviting everyone to try Bless Las Paellas so that they can really taste these paellas which they say are very delicious," said Maloles.

Aside from the classic Paella, the restaurant serves Lengua Gambas and local food such as Crispy Kare-Kare, Sisig, and Short Ribs Caldereta.

Born in Davao City and grew up in General Santos City, Maloles exudes a happy disposition in life.

"I was born in Davao City and grew up in General Santos. When I was younger, I was a happy child. I was industrious according to my parents. When you're young, you are always happy."

Maloles was a former beauty queen who represented the Philippines at the Mrs. Asia International 2014 beauty pageant held in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

In the competition for empowered women, Maloles won 1st runner-up. She also bagged a special award for Best In Image and Top 5 Best in Talent.

Maloles wished to build a foundation for the poor. "I want to establish the Jessie Maloloes Foundation. It's for the needy. If they are really in need, they can just go to the foundation. I want to give back in the form of community service. I want to be with them and treat them during my birthday celebrations." - ROBERT REQUINTINA
