At the same time, the top 3 finalists for best in talent special award were also presented.

The winners of both special awards will be announced at the grand coronation of Bb. Pilipinas 2019 beauty pageant at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on June 9.

Vickie Rushton, Negros Occidental; Hannah Arnold, Masbate; Samantha Mae Bernardo, Palawan; Cassandra Chan, Bacolod; Samantha Ashley Lo, Cebu; Jessarie Dumaguing, Puerto Princesa;

The top 3 finalists in talent who stood out during their talent competition at Farmers Plaza are: Samantha Mae Bernardo; Cassandra Chan; and Alannis Reign Binoya, Batangas.

The national costume show wrapped up the preliminaries for Bb. Pilipinas 2019 pageant.

Earlier, the 40 candidates were judged on various segments, including press presentation and closed-door interview.

During the grand finals, 25 candidates will initially make the cut.

This year's winners will represent the country in various competitions such as Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Grand International, Miss Supranational, Miss Globe and Miss Intecontinental.

Tiglao, a finalist in the top 10 best in national costume, said that she has mixed emotions as the pageant nears the homestretch.

"There's pressure. Sometimes sleepless nights and crying moments. Whatever it is, I am ready. I will be a fighter until the end," said Tiglao, one of front-runners in this year's competition.

Tiglao thanked the Kapampangan inmates for hand-weaving her Filipiniana costume.

"The costume was designed by Rico Sabinian. Those who helped in hand-weaving my outfit are Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) basket weavers who are staying at the Angeles District Jail," she said.

Tiglao added: "If I will win the national costume award, and if there's a cash prize, I will give it to them. I will share it." - ROBERT REQUINTINA
