JAAF supports COVID-19 related relief efforts nationwide

The J. Amado Araneta Foundation (JAAF), the social responsibility arm of the Araneta Group, has been providing support to various COVID-19 related efforts on a nationwide scale.

Since the ECQ was imposed in Metro Manila last March 17, JAAF has been actively working on several efforts.   As of April 17, the breakdown of undertaking includes:

P665,280 has been appropriated for COVD-19 testing kits
P274,500 worth of medical supplies have been donated to LGUS
More than 8,000 meals have been made for front liners
1,150 food packs have been distributed
P141,050 have been raised for the #TogetherWeHeal donation drive
650 #TogetherWeHeal food packs have been procured, with additional funds from the Foundation
1,000 seed packets received from Department of Agriculture for the #TogetherWeHeal food packs

#TogetherWeHeal, the campaign for COVID-19 relief efforts, was launched last March 31.  The major undertaking is a donation drive which aims to help indigent Filipino families in Metro Manila with difficult access to basic food needs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

#TogetherWeHeal supports the efforts of the local government units in the Metro.  This is in in partnership with Araneta City, TicketNet, and BinibiningPilipinas Charities, Inc.

JAAF, the Executive Director Diane Romero said, “This past month, we were caught by surprise as the rest of the world was, but we were able to adapt and realign our priorities and initiatives, in response to the needs of times.  With our available resources, we remain steadfast in supporting communities in the bestway we can.”

You can still support #TogetherWeHeal by donating a 350-peso food pack via TicketNet online (bit.ly/AranetaDonationDrive) until June 15, 2020.
