For the first time in 68 years, the Miss Universe beauty pageant would be held at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia on Dec. 8 (Dec. 9 Manila time). This was announced by the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) on its official website on Oct. 31 (Nov. 1 Manila time). Reigning Miss Universe Philippines posed for members of the elderly community doing portraits in which proceeds will benefit a charity of choice of the beauty queen. At the Gateway Gallery in Quezon City Friday night, Sept. 6, Gazini who wore a Cary Santiago gown struck a pose for 15 elderly painters for four hours. These portraits will be sold afterwards and part of the proceeds will be donated to a charity of Gazini's choice.
