International fashion designer Angela Taloza has been named as the franchise holder and national director of Jewel of the World Italy. Taloza was welcomed by John De La Vega, founder and international director of Jewel of the World beauty pageant. An English teacher from the Philippines has arrived home days after she was crowned at the inaugural Miss Landscapes International beauty pageant 2018 held in China recently. Karen Grace Atienza, of Rodriguez, Rizal, ended a nine-year drought for Filipino beauty queens when she became the third Filipino to win in pageants either hosted or held in China. The inaugural Jewel of the World beauty pageant, an international contest that celebrates cultural diversity, kicked off in the historic city of Malolos in Bulacan over the weekend.
