Aya Abesamis, Alex Diaz grace Auction For A Cause at Top of the Alpha

Reigning Bb. Pilipinas Grand International Aya Abesamis and actor-social media influencer Alex Diaz graced the Auction For A Cause featuring the works of Annette Chambers held at the Top of the Alpha in Makati City last March 4. Mafae Yunon-Belasco, former Miss World 2003 top 5 finisher and PR and Marketing Officer for the event, said that proceeds for the event would benefit the Philippine National School for the Blind (PNSB) and the Philippine Cerebral Palsy Inc. Abesamis has expressed support for the PNSB, the country's premier school for learners with visual impairment. She is one of the ambassadors for the James MacKay Foundation which supports the PNSB. "The last time I went there, they have a lot of things already. But then there are still certain facilities lacking. Seeing the potential of the students, like when they do arts, it's really amazing. 'Captain Marvel' to raise funds for feeding, scholarship programs

 A non-government organization (NGO) will raise some P100,000 to cover the feeding and scholarship program expenses in Negros and Metro Manila communities. Ahmed Davis, Head of the James MacKay Foundation Inc. (JMFI), said that the Foundation would like to raise P100,000.00 and more to cover the feeding and scholarship programs expenses for first quarter of 2019. "We are currently feeding over 50 children around the metro and seeking for more scholar to add to our growing list of James Mackay Foundation Inc. honors. We have been doing our feeding programs in the province in particularly Negros and 2019 started with Metro Manila communities," Davis said. Annette Chambers art exhibit to benefit the disabled

Australian painter Annette Chambers is currently holding an art exhibit in Makati City that will benefit the Philippine National School for The Blind. On-going at The City Club Alphaland Makati Place 4F Atrium from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., the art exhibit was made possible by the Mafae Management Consultancy in association with James Mackay Foundation and Road Packer. Born in the 60s, Annette traveled during her teens extensively around the world, enjoying different cultures and admiring artist different techniques and colors from Italy to Israel. This is where Annette fell in love with canvas paintings, from landscapes to portraits to abstracts. Finally deciding to study art at school and develop her love of modern abstracts. Over the years, she studied abstract painting with palette knives and layering of colors for amazing effects. Jo Kristine Revil is the vice governor of the province of Masbate. A graduate of BS Tourism at the University of the Philippines, she received her Juris Doctor at the Ateneo De Manila University School of Law. Revil also had an Executive Education at the Asian Institute of Management on Designing Sustainable Tourism and Strategic Legislative Management for Vice Governors. Recently, Revil finished her executive education at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. She is the current National President of the Lady Local Legislators’ League of the Philippines.
