Mariah Carey fans will be getting a long-awaited peek behind the curtain of her illustrious life with an upcoming memoir. The Meaning of Mariah Carey, written by the chanteuse with Michaela Angela Davis will be arriving on September 29, 2020. The memoir will be available as a physical copy via Andy Cohen Books and as an audiobook performed by the singer on Audible. The story will detail Carey's journey from her childhood all the way through her meteoric rise to superstardom, plus a breakdown of the rumors told about her in the media, including battles with gender and power dynamics, emotional abuse, embarrassments, failures and victories. Superstar Mariah Carey joins the world in encouraging everyone to stay home these days due to the threats of COVID-19! "Staying home & keeping positive! Carey said that she got the idea of #istayhomefor from Brown, one of the stars of the popular Netflix series "Stranger Things." It came as a surprise for singer-actress Mariah Carey to be named as the top female solo artist of all-time. "Oh, my God. To see the success on all the different charts, to hear you say that is mind-blowing. I never, ever dreamt of this when I first started. I just wanted to hear my songs on the radio," said Carey in an interview for Billboard Magazine following the release of the top 10 artists of all time during the 125th anniversary of the Billboard charts in Nov. 15. Smart Araneta to sell Mariah Carey tickets starting April 20

Lambs in Manila, rejoice! Grammy-award winning singer Mariah Carey is coming to Manila again to stage a one-night only concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City on Oct. 26. Mariah's concert is part of her Asian tour that will kick off in Auckland, New Zealand on Oct. 7. She will also stage concerts in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Osaka, Tokyo and Magelang, Indonesia. Tickets to the Manila concert will be sold starting April 20, according to her website. This is not the first time that the Elusive Chanteuse will hold a show in Manila. Mariah first came to the Philippines in 2003 when she brought her Charmbracelet World Tour. That time, the audience had a big laugh when she saw a bug on the floor. “There is a bug on the stage and it is scaring me,” said Mariah who announced it in a funny way. After 23 years, the holiday tune "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey has finally hit the Top 10 of the hottest songs in the US. The classic holiday song, penned and produced by Mariah, leaped from No. 11 to No. 9, according to Billboard Magazine for the week of December 30. A duet version of the song with Justin Bieber peaked at No. 86 on the Hot 100 singles chart. Released on Nov. 1, 1994, the song has already earned US$60 million in royalties. It was lifted from her first holiday CD called "Merry Christmas" which also came out in 1994. With 28 hit songs in her career, the yuletide classic now places Mariah at No. 5 for the artists with most Top 10s on the chart. She tied with Stevie Wonder.
