A beauty queen from Baguio City has assumed the Reyna ng Aliwan 2019 title after the original winner was stripped of the title allegedly for violating the terms and conditions of the pageant. Roi Neve Comanda, who represented the Panagbenga festival, won 2nd runner-up during the Aliwan Fiesta celebrations last April, as announced by Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC). "I am so happy because the last time Baguio City won was in 2006. This is a wonderful gift to our city," Comanda said. She was crowned by Reyna ng Aliwan 2018 Chelsea Fernandez.
