'Heartless,' says Anne Curtis-Smith on denial to grant new ABS-CBN franchise

Kapamilya star Anne Curtis-Smith has described as "heartless" the decision of some people in power to shutdown major broadcast network ABS-CBN which would affect some 11,000 employees. "I really don’t know what to say. I’m sorry that those who were in position to do the right thing chose to be heartless. I’m so sorry," said Anne on Instagram July 18. She accompanied her emotional post with an art image of a girl hugging a sad boy who represents the broadcast network. The "It's Showtime" host was not able to join the noise barrage on Saturday but informed her friends and colleagues at ABS-CBN that "I see your posts here on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and my heart breaks along with you."
