Devant, Marco Polo Hotel collaborate for 'The Owner'
After the success of ''Train Station," Collabfeature will produce a movie entitled "A Billion To One" which will be shot in the Philippines.
"It's in the planning stage right now and I'll be using Filipino actors," said Craig Lines during the exclusive screening of his movie "The Owner" at the Marco Polo Ortigas last August 8.
Devant and Marco Polo Ortigas have teamed-up for the screening of "The Owner" which featured stunning visuals using Devant's lineup of Ultra HD televisions and surround system.
"'The Owner' is a film that follows the journey of a lost backpack around the world. The international feature film showcases the many mysteries of the bag's travels, while showing the intersecting lives of the fascinating characters it got in touch with throughout the story.
On the other hand, Lines said that "A Billion To One" is the follow-up to the award-winning film "Train Station" which also won awards in various film festivals abroad.
Aside from the BAFTA Award, the ''Train Station'' won recognition and took part in international festivals such as Pune Independent Film Festival, DC Independent Film Festival, Berlin Independent Film Festival, Riverside International Film Festival, Sudan International Film Festival, Balinale International Film Festival, Rincon International Film Festival, Blow-Up Chicago Arthouse Film Festival, Cordoba Film Festival, East Lansing International Film Festival, Kosoves Film Festival, Miami Independent Film Festival, Casa Asia Film Week, Kansas International Film Festival, CICFF, and Los Angeles Diversity Film Festival.
"Train Station" is the second feature film from the award-winning, record-breaking filmmakers of CollabFeature.
It tells that story of a man who forces to change his plans after a mysterious train accident. Then he is confronted with a series of choices, some big, some small. Each decision he makes leads to a different scenario, each one filmed by a different director with a different cast. - ROBERT R. REQUINTINA
