Ropali, Honda join forces for 4th Partakan Festival

Ropali Motorcycles and Honda Philippines, Inc., together with other major sponsors Kawasaki Motor Philippines, Inc., Yamaha Motor Philippines and Suzuki Philippines, have joined forces for the 4th annual Partakan Festival at Anguib Beach in Sta. Ana, Cagayan on April 14-15.

Aldous Alingog, general manager of Ropali Motorcycles, said that the festival expects this year some 5,000 to 7,000 participants.

"This partnership promises to be bring more thrills and excitement. Expect the tranquil atmosphere of the famous 'Boracay of the North' to participants as they face various challenges in this year's ride and rock fest that celebrates the brotherhood, passion and freedom of motorists," said Alingog, during a press briefing at the Ropali Plaza showroom in Pasig City.

One of the many challenging and thrilling activities at the festival is the Amazing Ride Moto-Tourism Challenge sponsored by Shell where participants can win up to P20,000 cash and other prizes.

"This festival is open to everyone. It's not just motorcycle enthusiasts. This is open to riders, commuters, clubs, family members, backpackers, or barkadas," said Ariane Arabel Alingog, president, Ropali Motorcycles.

Patterned after the Amazing Race TV series in the US, the Amazing ride aims to promote tourism, camaraderie, and family bonding.

This competition will feature teams of five members who must complete challenges at different Shell stations.

The Auto/Moto Speed Challenge is a time-based motorcycle and automatic drag race sponsored by Kawasaki that will determine the rider with the fastest time within a certain distance.
