Angel Locsin marks birthday with Neil Arce

Actress Angel Locsin celebrated her birthday with film producer and businessman Neil Arce, raising speculations that the two celebrities are more than friends.

"Happy birthday Gel! Amazing what 7 years of friendship has done to us! Excited to see what's next :)," said Arce in a photo caption posted on Instagram last April 23.

Arce is the former boyfriend of actress Bela Padilla.

Recently, rumors swirled that Locsin and Arce were dating after a photo of their group date abroad went viral.

The camps of Locsin and Arce have been quiet about the issue.


Former sweethearts Arce and Padilla are active on showbiz these days because of their current movie project "Luck At First Sight" which also stars Jericho Rosales.

Padilla confirmed that Arce is back on the dating scene, during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS-CBN.

"I did not ask for specifics but I am aware that he is in the dating scene. So I'm okay with that. Super!" Padilla said.

Asked if she is friends with Locsin, Padilla smiled and said: "Oo. We were all friends."


But Padilla cut short her interview on Arce, saying he is not allowed to talk about her former boyfriend.

"I don't know if I'm allowed to answer this question because he is right there and he firmly told me not to answer questions about him," Padilla said.

She added: "Actually wala na akong say. Ok na talaga."

Earlier, Padilla was rumored to be dating actor Zanjoe Marudo. But she said that they are just friends. - ROBERT REQUINTINA
