Candid Shot: Karan Singhdole



Karan Singhdole of the Philippines is the first winner of Man of the Year pageant held in Indonesia in 2016.

This 25-year-old model from Sta. Rosa is a full-blooded Indian, although he was born and raised in the Philippines.

He's a simple man and describes himself as a family person and everybody's friend. "Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs, the one who accepts you for who you are, the one who would do anything to see you smile and love you no matter what."

We chatted with Karan at the press preview for the candidates of Misters of Filipinas 2018 pageant at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City recently.

1) The best thing to do when caught in a traffic?

"Keep calm and listen to music."

2) Next to you, three men who should also be called "Man of the World?"

"One is my good friend Neil Perez, Carlo Pasion, and Clint Peralta."

3) If you will meet the Pope, what will you tell him?

"Please bless me."


4) Qualities of your ideal woman?

"Kind, loving and honest."

5)  Most delicious food ever tasted?

"Adobong Humba."

6) Favorite movie/s?

"As of this time, 'Koi Mil Gaya,' an Indian movie and my favorite horror movie is 'The Nun.' "


7) Favorite song/s?

"Home."

8) The most beautiful woman in the world?

"For me, my mom."

9) Three famous people you want to meet?

"Pia Wurtzbach, Ellen DeGeneres, and Steve Harvey."


10) Is there any thing you want to change in your body?

"None."

11) What is your dream wedding?

"Beach or a garden wedding."

12) Your message to your critics?

"Thank you and I hope na wala naman akon ginagawang masama sa mga activities ko."


13) What makes you happy?

"When they share their stories and having a good conversation. And seeing my family supporting what I do."

14) How will you spend P1 million in one day?

"Spend it with my family, share some to charities and donate to church."

15) Your best quality?

"I am an honest person. I have dignity and I can be your best friend."
