Queen of Hearts Foundation pageant activities rescheduled

The Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc. has announced that it will reschedule its pageant activities due to threats of COVID-19. Mitzie Go-Gil, national director of Mrs. Queen of Hearts and Mrs. Asia Pacific Philippines pageants, made the announcement on the foundation's official Facebook page. It read: "The Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc, wishes to inform the judges, the reigning Queen of Hearts Mrs. and Miss Queens 2019 and 2020, the candidates for the 2020 pageant, our sponsors, our supporters and our media friends that out scheduled events will be rescheduled to later dates due to unforeseen circumstances; "The enhanced community quarantine directed by the government is an urgent and necessary measure to arrest COVID-19 spread. We should help the government against this health threat by starting with ourselves and our families; "To those infected, let us pray for their recovery. and for our government personnel who are at the forefront of this war. Mrs. Asia – Pacific Global 2019 Avon Morales led guests in cheering an orphanage in Pasay City, treating them to games, food, and gifts recently. The special treat at the Social Development Center Orphanage coincided with the advance birthday celebration of Morales whose birth anniversary originally falls on March 3. Beauty queens raise funds for charity

Former beauty queen Mitzie Go-Gil, national director of Mrs. Queen of Hearts and Mrs. Asia Pacific Philippines pageants, led some beauty pageant winners in raising more funds for the victims of Taal Volcano eruption in Batangas City. "Ang dami pang kailangan mga biktima ng volcano eruption sa Batangas. Hindi pa tapos ang laban," said Gil, during an interview at the Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc. PNP-SAF commando trainees receive holiday treat from Queens

The Philippine National Police Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) commando trainees received a special holiday treat when the Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc. led by Mitzie Go-Gil visited them at their headquarters at Sitio Bliss San Vicente Magalang in Pampanga last Dec. 24. The Queens spread the joys of the holiday season to the trainees by giving them a surprise boodle fight, gift-giving, and entertaining them with songs. But the entertainment worked the other way around as the Queens were the ones entertained. Yet the commandos were ready. The presented a cultural dance, a silent drill exhibition, rendered songs, group-dancing accompanied by their band and a comedy skit which made the crowd laughing the whole afternoon. Taking time out of their busy schedules, the Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc. led by the beautiful and benevolent Mitzie Go Gil spread the holiday cheer to friends of Core Pageant Media at the Red Cloud Karaoke Family KTV at Manhattan Parkview in Araneta City on Dec. 14. Joining Gil to entertain media guests were Mrs. Asia Pacific Global 2019 Avon Morales, Liena Tan, Mary Chris Abacahin, and Xiamzzy Dy. Good food and raffle prizes reigned the joyous holiday event which also served as birthday celebration of Gil, former Mrs Asia Pacific 2018. Beauty queen Mitzie Go-Gil has been awarded best national pageant director for exemplary performance of her five candidates who either won or received special awards during the Mrs. Asia Pacific 2019 beauty contest held in Malaysia last May 19. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you, thank you, thank you. This award comes unexpectedly and I am overwhelmed by the graciousness of the body governing this prestigious contest. This means they recognized and took notice of how we conducted our pageant in the Philippines. If that was good enough for the body, rest assured that our forthcoming events will be even better. Beauty queen empowers women via dress for success

A successful businesswoman engaged in agriculture and advocates dress for success will represent the Philippines in the inaugural Mrs. Global Universe 2019 pageant which will be held in Singapore on February 24. "The mission of my advocacy 'Dress for Success' is to empower women to achieve economic independence and encourage them to strive and work harder in life. It's similar to John Robert Powers modelling school," said Irene Montemayor during a press send-off held in Taguig City last Feb. 16. Monk forecast victory of Mitzie Go Gil in int'l pageant

Newly crowned Mrs. Asia Pacific Tourism 2018 Mitzie Go Gil couldn't believe what a monk had told her days before she competed for the international pageant. "I attended an event and actress Ara Mina introduced me to a monk. Then the monk told me that he saw a vision where I would be holding a trophy or a torch in gold," said Gil during her homecoming and victory party in Pasig City recently. Gil, 40, said that she was surprised when the vision of the monk became a reality and she won Mrs. Asia Pacific Tourism 2018. "I didn't take his words seriously. In fact, I didn't tell him I was joining a beauty contest." She went home with a gold-plated trophy from the pageant. Mitzie Go Gil is the country's official representative to the Mrs. Asia Pacific 2018 pageant which will be held in Singapore on March 20-25. Mitzie, 40, is a mother to three adorable children. She loves to cook and travel. She is the wife of retired police general Virtus Gil. At present, she owns and manages the Eagles Fly Travel & Tours for 16 years now.  She is also the current Vice President for V . V G Realty. "Travelling is my form of indulgence. That's why my husband and I thought of putting up our own travel agency so I can enjoy travelling around the world and at the same time find fulfillment as a career woman," said Mitzie, during media send-off held at the Millennia Suites Ortigas in Pasig City.
