2018 Miss Universe pageant: Who may win, who may not?

So POP NEWS PHILIPPINES talked to Asia's most trusted Feng Shui Master Hanz Cua to help us determine the fate of these candidates through Chinese astrology which is the system of computing one's destiny based on birthday and birth season.

For our astrology reading, we requested Cua to read the stars of five candidates of the 2018 Miss Universe 2018 pageant for the preliminaries (Dec. 13) and the finale (Dec. 17). These candidates are: Miss Philippines Catriona Gray, Miss Spain Angela Ponce, Miss South Africa Tamaryn Green, Miss Thailand Sophida Kanchanarin, and Miss USA Sarah Rose Summers.


We don't want to disappoint the pageant fans of these five front-runners. That's why POP NEWS PHILIPPINES chose not reveal which reading was assigned to the candidate.

Last year, days before the Miss Universe contest, Hanz predicted that Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters would win the prestigious title.

The feng shui master then said that the luck of Demi-Leigh was already "built-in" on the day of the competition. This year, Hanz mentioned about two strong candidates among the field of 94 contestants in the pageant. Can you guess who these girls are?


Candidate No. 1: "She was born with the animal sign that carries a strong star for fame and recognition. For sure, she will be one of the Top 20 semi-finalists! But for the whole month of December, this candidate has backstabbing and cheating stars. She has an illness star this year but it will not affect her during the pageant. Both dates of the preliminaries (Dec. 13) and the finals (Dec. 17) are not favorable days to her.  To enhance her chances of winning, she should wear the colors blue, black, purple, gold, silver, gray and white."


Candidate No. 2: "The animal sign of this candidate has a minor clash with the year's animal sign. She should avoid the northwest direction. For the month of December, I see accident stars so she should be careful. During the preliminaries, the judges would love her but she has backstabbers, too! For the finals, she has frustration stars but the selection committee would still love her. But I don't see her being a top beauty queen. Her chart says that she will succeed as a business person. To enhance her luck in the pageant, she should wear the colors red, yellow, orange, and green."


Candidate No. 3: "She's good in interviews but I don't see her winning the crown. There's a lonely star on her chart. The whole month of December is a clash month for her. But for the Dec. 13 event, she will become one of the favorites of the judges because of her charisma. She has a good luck star during the prelims. She will be very attractive that day. The whole month of December may not be perfect to her but the dates of the prelims and finale are very favorable to her."


Candidate No. 4: "She has a recognition star for 2018! Her chances of winning is strong! For the whole month of December, she will receive an award. Both the preliminaries and the finale are very favorable to her. For the prelims, her animal sign is compatible with the animal sign for the day. On Dec. 17, her animal sign is the best friend of the animal sign for the day. Just like candidate no. 3, both the crucial dates of the Miss Universe contest are favorable to her."


Candidate No. 5: "For this year, this candidate carries a recognition star. But the current year clashes with her animal sign. She should avoid facing northwest. Her recognition luck for December is not that strong. I see problem and sadness stars on her this month. Her luck for December is weak. Her fate during the finals is okay but she will not win the crown." - ROBERT REQUINTINA
