Vietnam wins Miss Globe 2017; PHL's Nelda Ibe is 1st runner-up



Nelda Ibe of the Philippines finished 1st runner-up in the Miss Globe 2017 beauty contest held in Albania last Friday night.

Miss Vietnam was crowned Miss Globe 2017. Other winners were: Siberia, 2nd runner-up; Albania, 3rd runner-up; and Cape Verde, 4th runner-up.

In 2015, Anne Colis became the first Filipino to win the beauty pageant.

Ibe, 23, is a pilot from Tarlac City. Her Top 5 finish continued the winning streak of Filipino beauties in pageants abroad.

Recently, fellow Binibini Elizebeth Clenci won 2nd runner-up in the 2017 Miss Grand International beauty contest held in Vietnam.
