Miss Philippine Youth International 2019 Rikki Mae Dela Peña has paid tribute to her parents for her success both in pageantry and school. Two teen queens of Miss Philippines Youth beauty pageant shared their pieces of advice to the incoming candidates of the teen competition as they encouraged them to be themselves and share their advocacies. "As what I keep on telling them during our events, just be yourself and always  do things from the heart. Sincerity is important not only in the pageant but also in our life," said Rikki Mae dela Pena, reigning Miss Philippine Youth, during an interview. Reigning Miss Philippine Youth International Rikki Mae Dela Pena has advised her peers to always choose career over fame. “Career must be prioritized as it sets direction in our life and as part of the youth we must choose a career that we really love because by doing something that we really love, fame and success will follow," said Rikki Mae in an interview. Rikki Mae also said that the youth can achieve their dreams through hardwork. "I realized that no one can immediately be well known without doing some effort and by doing something that is right," she said. Miss PH Youth Int'l graces Niyogyugan festival 2019

Reigning Miss Philippine Youth International Rikki Mae Abuel Dela Pena graced the annual Niyogyugan festival in Lucena City, Quezon where sat as one of the judges in its festival competition. "It was such an honour for me to sit as one of the judges for the street dance competition at the Niyogyugan festival," said Dela Pena. "It was really a fun-filled event and seeing the Quezonians smile really makes me happy as well. Their hardwork and teamwork were very inspiring," she said. The teen queen who just graduated from college thanked the local officials for their warm welcome. "I would like to thank Hon. Aleta Suarez, Governor Danilo Suarez and Hon. New beauty queen to fight bullying, body-shaming

A 20-year-old student who vows to campaign against bullying and depression has been crowned Miss Philippine Youth International 2019. Rikki Mae Abuel dela Pena, who studies at the University of Asia and the Pacific in Pasig City, said that she wants to bridge the experts and fellow millennials who have been victimized by bullying, depression and body-shaming. "I want to build this community where I can bridge the experts and the victims of bullying, depression and body-shaming," said Dela Pena during a victory press conference held at a hotel in Quezon City recently. Dela Pena said that she is also passionate about building relationships with other people through charity works. Just recently, she created her fund-raising page for World Vision Organization which aims to support the educational programs in the country.
