Misters of Filipinas 2018 contest reveals 4 official candidates
The road to the Misters of Filipinas crowns begins!
Misters of Filipinas, the country's most prestigious pageant for young Filipino men, has announced its four official candidates for this year's contest.
They are Jego Nacnac, Misters of Filipinas Laoag; Ruben Anthony Timbol, Misters of Filipinas Tarlac; Federico Palejon, Misters of Filipinas Italy; and Johnchris Gamez, Misters of Filipinas Florence Italy.
The announcement was made on the official Facebook page of the pageant which advocates masculinity and responsibility.

In a span of six years, Misters of Filipinas has already produced three crowns --- the latest was the victory of Ion Perez who won Mr. Universe Tourism 2018 recently.
Organized by the Prime Events Productions Philippines Foundation Inc., Misters of Filipinas also launched the careers of Neil Perez who went on to become the country's first Mister International; and Karan Singhdole, Man of the Year.

Other popular candidates in the pageant were Don Mcgyver Cochico, Christopher Dulagan, CJ Querol, etc.
On June 15, "Misters" also announced that 97 aspirants advanced to the closed door deliberation of the screening committee.
Later, 72 men out of hundreds of applicants were short-listed to be invited to the face-to-face screening.
"We would like to thank all who sent out their applications. To the 72 lucky Misters, we will send information to your emails," the FB announcement said.
On June 19, ten of the 72 aspirants have been sent their letters on being shortlisted for the next round of screenings, it was reported.
It was earlier announced that the deadline for the online screening would be on June 8. But the organizers have said that there will be a second screening soon.
