Girl,10, to represent PH in World's Star Model Search 2019
A 10-year-old girl from Meycauayan, Bulacan who has already won 27 trophies in various pageant and modelling competitions will represent the Philippines in the pre-teen category of the inaugural World's Star Model Search 2019 which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Denise Irish Repulleza, 4th grade student of Genesis Integrated Science Academy, said that she has been joining pageant and modelling search since she was 7 years old with the full support of her parents Jayla and stepfather Juan Benjamin Griffith who is based in New York.
Wearing her 4-inch high-heeled gladiator shoes, Denise met select members of the pageant press at Gateway Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City and shared her dreams and preparations for her first international beauty contest which will be held on April 22-29.
"I enjoy modelling and beauty pageants. Aside from beauty contests, someday I would also like to become a lawyer or veterinarian," said Denise who has adopted several cats and dogs. She also loves actress Anne Curtis-Smith, badminton, and volleyball.
Her mother Jayla said that she make sure that her only child will not take her studies for granted.
Asked what she would tell President Duterte if she meets him, Denise said: "I will tell him to protect our country. I will also ask him to tell the people to dispose off their garbage properly."
