15 participants complete urban agriculture course



Fifteen participants coming from Laguna, Bacoor and Las Pinas completed the Agricultural Crops Production Training/ Urban Gardening Program at the Villar SIPAG Farm School in Bacoor. 


The participants learned the basic knowledge and skills on vegetable production, including land preparation, harvesting, urban gardening and nutrition education. 


Sen. Cynthia Villar, director of the Villar Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance, stressed the need to have a ready source of food especially in this pandemic where the food supply chain was disrupted.
