Jeremy Jauncey: Grateful for amazing things with Pia Wurtzbach
Hours after former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach revealed her relationship status, boyfriend Scottish businessman Jeremy Jauncey said that he is grateful for the kind words and the amazing things happening to them.
"Things have certainly taken a crazy turn this year but I’m very grateful for the kind words and of course for the amazing things happening with @piawurtzbach and I 😘😊," said Jauncey on Instagram on June 2.
Jauncey is the founder and CEO of travel vlog Beautiful Destinations and ambassador of World Wildlife Fund, an organization dedicated to wildlife preservation and endangered species.
On June 1, Wurtzbach revealed that she is in a relationship with Jauncey. The couple appears on the cover of the latest issue of Philippines Tatler.
The cover of the magazine was shot at Equinox Hotels in New York. Famed photographer Nigel Barker took the shots.
In a separate IG post, Jauncey cited the importance of supporting each other, embracing differences and respecting equality.
"Of all the lessons I’ve learnt through travel the single most important has been that it does not matter the colour of your skin, the faith you pray to, the person you fall in love with or where you come from in life because all of us are created equal and all of us deserve the right to be free, happy & safe;
"I have and will always believe in the importance of supporting each other and setting the example that we are better together when we embrace our differences and respect equality. It is how I was brought up, how I live my life and how I believe we should be;
"I have met amazing people all over the world, of different races, religions and backgrounds to me, many who may feel that in terrible situations like the one we’re seeing in the US, cannot do anything to help... you CAN. You have a voice. You can influence others. Whether it’s a few close friends or thousands that follow you on social media, take a stance against racism. Let it be known that you do not believe in judging people because of the colour of their skin or where they come from and when the time comes- speak to your elected officials and VOTE for representatives that will fight for what is right and will fight against racism," he said. - Robert R.
